Make 3 pieces of silver jewellery and cover the basic techniques of working with Art Clay Silver including how to handle the clay, firing, polishing and finishing.  We will cover the technical aspects, different forms available and background of silver clay.
For the hands on part of the course we use unique teaching methods to give you space and time to design your jewellery.
Our course gives a comprehensive insight to world of silver clay and following the class you should be able to 
work independently with silver clay to make your own pieces of jewellery
know how to store your unused clay
know how to re-cycle your unused clay
know how to avoid wasting silver clay
know the correct tools to use
understand drying and firing times for different forms of clay and how to combine
know how to get a professional finish to your pieces

Includes ACS and use of all tools and equipment. The course is suitable for beginners and improvers.

Yes, my girlfriend did very much like what I'd done, and has been wearing the leaf on a chain almost every day since I brought it back! I am definitely interested in doing some more ACS work soon, and will definitely be in touch.

By the way, the book I have is 'The art of metal clay' by Sherri Haab, which covers both types, but unfortunately doesn't discuss gas stove firing, or painting leaves!

Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed the day spent with you on saturday.  It is certainly a great medium to use, i am sure I can incorporate it with my polymer beads.
 
I was telling my daughter what we had done with you, and I am sure some requests will be coming from her soon as she looked it up on the cmputer as I was speaking to her.
